Privacy

Seekframe collects nothing. Your photos, your videos and what Seekframe learns about them stay on your Mac.

What happens on your Mac

When you add a folder or a drive, Seekframe reads its photos and videos and runs them through a model that works on your Mac. It keeps the result — a list of numbers for each photo and for moments in each video, plus a small picture of each moment so results show even when a drive is unplugged — in its own library on your Mac. You can see the library's size, show it in Finder or erase it in Seekframe's Settings › Privacy.

What leaves your Mac

Nothing of yours. Seekframe has no account, no analytics, no advertising identifiers and no crash reports.

• Mac App Store edition: the app has no permission to use the network at all. Purchases of Pro go through the App Store, which Apple handles.
• Edition downloaded from this site: the app checks for updates by downloading a small public file from updates.stillbyte.dev; that request carries nothing about you or your files. You can check for updates by hand instead.
